We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Camberley in the early hours of this morning (16 October).
Officers were called to Camberley High Street at around 2.30am following reports a man had been attacked near the junction with St George's Road. Seven or eight men were involved and one of the suspects left the scene in possession of the victim’s jacket.
The suspects are described as a group of men in their late teens or early twenties, who were all wearing dark coloured tracksuits.
A man in his 20s has been left with GBH level injuries, including serious damage to one of his ears. He is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the assault, in particular two women who we believe may have been with the victim prior to the assault, as well as the driver of a white Toyota Prius who was in the area at the time.
