News-desk operating hours over Christmas and New Year period

Thank you for all your support during 2022 in helping to get messages out to the public - particularly around missing persons and witness appeals. It is very much appreciated by officers and staff during what has been another challenging year.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR OPERATING HOURS:

The office will not be open on public holidays including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day however, the on-call service will continue over the festive period. Please note this service is for urgent operational matters and not general enquiries. 

Sat Dec 24 - Christmas Eve - Weekend on-call service
Christmas Day– Public Holiday on-call service
Boxing Day - Public Holiday on-call service 
Tues Dec 27 – Public Holiday on call service

Wed Dec 28 - 30 – 8:30am to 5pm office hours & overnight on call service

New Year’s Eve – Weekend on call service

New Year’s Day - Public Holiday on-call service 
Monday Jan 2 – Public Holiday on call service

Tuesday Jan 3 - Return to normal services.
