Witness appeal following fatal collision on A217 in Tadworth

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A217 Mill Road, Tadworth this morning (6 December).

At around 11.56am, officers were called to reports of a collision between a van and a cyclist.

An 80-year-old man has sadly died at the scene. His next-of-kin have been made aware.

The driver has been fully cooperating with officers. No arrests have been made.

Road closures remain in place on the A217 at this time, but we estimate these will be lifted within the hour.
