Witness appeal following fatal collision on A24 in Dorking

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A24 Dorking Road this morning (13 December).

Officers were called to reports of a car that had come off of the road near to Mickleham at around 9am. No other vehicle was involved. 

A man in his 50's was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and his next-of-kin have been made aware.

Road closures remain in place on the A24 northbound but we expect the road to be re-opened shortly.
