We are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at The Winston Churchill School in Woking on Monday (29 August).
Officers were called to reports of a burglary at the school, on Hermitage Road, at around 1:15pm. During the burglary, items of jewellery was taken, and damage was caused to a staff office.
It is believed the suspects left the scene on bikes and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area or have any further information to contact us.
Temporary Sergeant Luke Flint said: “This crime has had an impact on both the school and the wider community. We are currently investigating and are appealing to anyone with any information to speak to us.”
A 16-year-old boy from Knaphill was arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with this offence and has been released under investigation.
