Faisal Fazeli, 29, of Shepherds Hill, Guildford has been sentenced to a total of 6.5 years in jail for the supply of illegal drugs.
On 19 August 2022 officers were called to reports of a fight at a house in Guildford. They discovered Fazeli, who was seemingly eager to leave the house - and the presence of the police officers. The reason for this became clear when they discovered he was wanted by Thames Valley Police.
Following his arrest, officers searched Fazeli’s home address and discovered 4kg of cannabis, wraps of cocaine, over £1000 in cash and drugs paraphernalia.
He pleaded guilty to the cannabis offence, however claimed the cocaine was for personal use. Following a two-day trial at Guildford Crown Court, Fazeli was found guilty of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
A police expert witness valued the cannabis at a street value of over £40,000 and the cocaine at £2,000.
On 10 February 2023, at Guildford Crown Court, Fazeli was sentenced to a total of 6.5 years for possession of cocaine with intent to supply and two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
In addition, Fazeli’s ill-gotten gains were confiscated by the court. The illegal drugs and paraphernalia will be sent for destruction.
