We are appealing for witnesses after we were called to a collision between two vehicles and a pedestrian on the A217 southbound in Banstead this afternoon (7 March).
The incident happened at around 4.50pm and the pedestrian has been taken to hospital in a critical condition. Her next of kin have been informed.
The road will be closed for the foreseeable so we are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.
We believe that the driver of a red Citroen in the area at the time may have witnessed the collision, so if this was you please get in touch with us.
