A paramedic has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a collision in Redhill in August 2021.
Craig Chitty, 40, who was driving a South East Coast Ambulance at the time but was not responding to an emergency, is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on 6 October.
39-year-old Carmel Ryder died following the collision which took place while she was waiting at a bus stop in Brighton Road around 9.20am on 5 August.
