Witness appeal after an assault in Woking

We are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Woking on Saturday (1 July).

Officers were called to reports of people fighting within Old Wokingians Football Club and on Loop Road recreational ground at around 12:15pm.

Detective Constable Edward Auger said: “Our enquiries are currently ongoing to determine the circumstances, but we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or the people fighting. If you have any information or video footage from the area this afternoon, please get in touch with us.”
