We are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured by a projectile in Woking.
Police were called to the Slug and Lettuce on Chobham Road in Woking at around 11pm following report that a member of door staff had been shot in the eye with the pellet from a BB gun.
The woman was taken to hospital where she received medical treatment for a serious injury to her eye.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing ABH level injuries. Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone who might have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Were you in the Woking area near the Slug & Lettuce on Saturday, 1 July between about 10.50pm and 11pm? Did you see a white BMW passing the Slug & Lettuce during this time?
