Witness appeal following fatal collision in Leatherhead

Officers were called to Mill Way in Leatherhead at 05.47am on Monday, 3 July following a report of a serious collision involving a single vehicle at the location.

Officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance, but the male driver was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. While we’re still working to identify and speak to his next of kin we have withheld some identifying details, but will issue a further update when we are able to.

Mill Way was closed for several hours but has now reopened. Enquiries are ongoing.
