Witness appeal following serious assault in Guildford

We are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit around the head with a bottle behind the Casino nightclub in Guildford on Thursday, 6 July.

Officers were called following reports that a man had been attacked by three suspects at some point between 2.05 and 2.15am.

A man in his 20's was left with GBH level injuries that required hospital treatment.

The first suspect has been described as a European man, aged around 34 years old, of medium build with short black hair. He was wearing a navy-blue jumper with ‘Cunnington’ written in large letters on the back and in smaller writing on the front left. He was also wearing black Nike trainers.

The second suspect has also been described as a European man, aged around 30 years old, of stocky build with short black hair. He was wearing a black Adidas jumper with grey stripes down the side, camouflaged trousers, and black trainers.

The third suspect has been described as a European man aged around 32 years old, of medium build with short black hair and stubble on his face.

We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the assault and may have been in the area at the time.
