Did you see an assault in Farnham?

We are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Farnham in the early hours of Thursday, 17 August.

The incident took place at around 12:02am on Union Road and involved the suspect getting out of a vehicle, punching the woman, before fleeing the scene.

We believe there may have been a hate-crime element involved in the incident.

The suspect is described as a White man in late teens or early 20s, around 5ft 9" tall, and with short dirty blonde hair.
