Witnesses sought following serious collision in Horley

We are appealing for witnesses after a child suffered serious injuries following a collision in Horley earlier today (11 August).

Police were called to Smallfield Road around 5.50pm following reports of a collision near the Kings Head pub between the driver of a car and the child, who was on foot.   

The child has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road is currently closed in both directions while emergency services deal with the incident.
