The family of a motorcyclist who died following a collision in Forest Green Road in Ockley on 30 September have described themselves as “heartbroken beyond belief” following his death.
Paying tribute to 23-year-old Jordan Golesworthy this week, they said:
“Jordan was a beloved son, grandson, brother and partner. He was a very proud Daddy to his nine-month-old baby girl.
“At 23, he still had so much life to live and experience, we are heartbroken beyond belief at the tragic and sudden loss of him.
“Jordan was an active, free-spirited, unapologetically himself person who had an amazing sense of humour. He had been into all types of motorbike his whole life and was also a keen footballer, being a proud player for Dunsfold FC.
“He was a very sociable and extremely popular, well-loved member of the community who will be truly missed by everyone who ever knew him.
“We thank everyone for their condolences and the tributes that have been held in Jordan’s honour.
“He will definitely not be forgotten.”
We are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision which took place around 7.30pm.
We would like to hear from anyone who saw the yellow motorbike or the two cars being driven prior to the collision or the collision itself, particularly if you have any dashcam footage.
