The family of Louis Craze, 26, have today paid tribute to him after he sadly died on Saturday 18 November. Officers were called to an address in Bishop Fox Way just after midday following reports that someone had been stabbed. Louis was located within the address and despite the best efforts of officers and paramedics, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers. Louis's family said; “"Following the tragic news that we received on Saturday, the only word to describe how the family is feeling is heartbroken. “We would ask that people appreciate that this is a sad and tragic time for the family and that we are left alone to grieve for Louis in peace whilst we try to understand what has happened.” Danny Craze, 36, of West Molesey, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Hicks said: “I would like to express my sincere condolences to Louis’s family during this difficult and sad time. “We are conducting a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened and are asking anyone who has any information, to contact us quoting Op Ganges. “If you do not want to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.” Louis’s death has now been referred to the coroner. |
