We are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Epsom on Sunday (19 November).
Officers were called around 8.40pm to Tesco Express in Station Approach after a man in his 20s was left with stab wounds. His injuries are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
We believe it was a targeted attack by two men, described as White, around 5ft 6 tall and wearing black tops and balaclavas.
The men left the scene following the incident and our investigation is ongoing to locate them.
Detective Sergeant Leigh Wall, who is investigating the incident, said: “We understand that this incident will have caused considerable concern within the local community. We do believe that this was a targeted attack, and we are doing everything we can to locate the suspects.
“We are appealing for anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible.”
