We have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with a concern for safety in Walton-on-Thames on Thursday (2 November).
Officers were called at around 8pm after receiving reports that a person, believed to be a woman or girl, had been put into a silver car on First Avenue. The car, which is believed to be a silver Volkswagen Polo, was then driven off in the direction of Garden Road. It is not clear whether the person was put in the car against her will, and so we are working to establish the exact circumstances.
DI Adam Ramiz said: “We are keen to identify the man in this CCTV image, as we believe he may be able to help with our ongoing enquiries. We know this image isn’t of the highest quality, but if you do happen to recognise him, please do contact us. We are also asking anyone with any information to contact us, so that we can ensure the woman is safe.”
If you recognise him, or you have any other information which could assist, please contact us quoting reference PR/ 45230124839 via:
