We are appealing for witnesses after tools were stolen during a robbery of a van driver near West Horsley on 11 December.
The incident happened between 10:50am and 11:10am on Ripley Lane, during which the drivers of two vans blocked a work van in the road. The suspects threatened the victim with a hammer, before stealing tools from the back of the van.
The suspects included five White men, three of whom were in a white Ford Transit van, with one man described as wearing a cap and the other two with their hoods up. They all fled in the direction of Ockham and the A3.
Tool thefts ruin the livelihoods of tradespeople, and we are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed something suspicious in the area to report it to Surrey Police. If you have any information, please contact us quoting PR/45230140523 via:
If you do not wish to speak to police, you can call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
