We are appealing for witnesses after a man grabbed a woman around the neck and then stole her bag as she walked along Laburnum Road in Epsom on Monday (15 April).
The robbery happened at around 6.15pm as the woman walked down the road away from Epsom High Street.
The suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 5’ 10’’ tall, well built, and with an untidy short black beard. He was wearing a black jacket which was padded but not thick and black trousers. After the robbery, he may have been carrying the woman’s beige bag over his shoulder.
