On Friday, 12 April, officers attended a mobile home and several cars on fire at an address on Chapel Road in Smallfield.
Surrey Fire & Rescue requested police attendance as the fire was believed to have been started deliberately. Three people were given medical attention at the scene, and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Two women in their 30s have been arrested on suspicion of arson. They have been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
We are now looking to trace a significant witness who drove past in their lorry and spoke to a member of the fire brigade at the scene.
