We are appealing for witnesses after three people were assaulted in Walton on Thames.
On Tuesday, 25 June at around 11pm, two women and two men were walking across Walton Bridge, having watched England play Slovenia in Euro 2024 in the town. A black VW Golf pulled up alongside the group and two men got out and assaulted three of them.
One of the women sustained a black eye, and a clump of hair was pulled from one of the men.
The two suspects are described as White men, both aged in their late teens to early 20s. One was of a stocky build and was wearing a white vest top, grey shorts and white trainers. The other is described as having dark hair and was wearing a dark coloured tee shirt and shorts.
We are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed all or part of this incident or anyone who may have dash cam or helmet cam footage. The assault took place in the middle of the bridge and caused traffic to stop so officers believe there are witnesses to this unprovoked attack who have not yet come forward.
