A drug dealer is facing the next 30 months behind bars after he was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, 18 July 2024.
Officers stopped Marcyn Milewski, 25, (DOB 20/08/1998), of Eastcote Avenue in West Molesey, on Littleton Lane in Shepperton on Wednesday, 24 April 2024, suspecting that the vehicle he was in was involved in drug supply.
This stop was part of a three-day proactive operation with neighbouring police forces to tackle drug related offences. When officers stopped the vehicle, Milewski was extremely nervous and was unable to tell officers what he was doing and where he had been. He was found to have a small bag containing white powder in the pocket of his jacket and was detained under the misuse of drugs act.
Officers searched Milewski’s car and found £200 in cash, two mobile phones and a large brown box in the rear passenger seat that contained a large vacuum sealed bag of cannabis.
Milewski was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and when he was taken into custody, officers found a large block of white powder in his underwear, which was later forensically tested and confirmed to be cocaine.
Milewski was charged and remanded for possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty to these charges and was sentenced to 30 months’ imprisonment for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, and eight months each for possession with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, to be served concurrently with the 30-month sentence.
Investigating officer PC Dave Udal said, “The conviction of Milewski was the result of some really great proactive police work. We know drugs can have a devastating impact on our community and we’re determined to continue to root out those responsible.”
