Witness appeal following fatal collision in Sunbury

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Sunbury Cross.

Officers were called to a collision involving a black motorcycle on the A316 southbound slip road onto the M3 at around 00.52am.

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the location but sadly a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man in his 20s has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The A316 southbound slip road at J1 of the M3 has been closed for several hours and will remain closed until approximately 7am. Please check before you travel through this area this morning and make alternative arrangements where possible.

We are now urgently looking to speak to anyone with any information that may assist our investigation. We are particularly interested in tracing the movements of a black, scrambler-type motorbike.
