We are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Salfords this morning.
Officers were called to an address on Brighton Road in Salfords at 1.12am this morning following reports of a fight and a stabbing at the location.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with a stab wound, where he remains at this time receiving treatment.
Four people – a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl, and a 16-year-old girl – have all been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They all remain in police custody at this time.
As a key part of our enquiries, we are now looking to speak to anyone who might have been in the area at the time. We are particularly looking to speak to a taxi driver who we believe might have witnessed all or part of this incident. If this is you, or you know who it might be, please get in touch.
