We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Bramley.
Officers were called to the A281 (Horsham Road) shortly after 9am on Monday, 18 November, following reports of a collision between the driver of a van and the rider of a motorcycle.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended but sadly the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with enquiries.
The A281 was closed between the junctions of Station Road and Maiden Lane and re-opened around 3:45pm. We thank the public for their patience whilst we dealt with our initial enquiries.
We are now looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or have any dashcam, helmet or CCTV footage that may have captured all or part of this incident. Were you driving along Horsham Road between 8.50am and 9am on Monday morning? If you have any information that might assist our investigation, please get in touch quoting PR/45240132761 via:
If you do not wish to speak to police, you can call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
