A man has been sentenced to 32 months' imprisonment after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
Mark Dadson, 52 (DOB: 24/04/1972) from Fairborne Way, Guildford, was arrested on 26 April 2024 after being stopped by officers on Onslow Road, Guildford. When he and his vehicle were searched, officers uncovered individual bags of cocaine and cannabis along with some scales, cannabis vapes and £450 of cash. Dadson was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and for driving otherwise in accordance with a license. He was charged and appeared at Guildford Crown Court on 4 February where he was sentenced to 32 months in prison. Investigating Officer, PC Rebecca Etherington said: “The vehicle stop which led to Dadson’s arrest was as a result of the work Surrey Police is doing every day to target drug related crime in the county. "Drugs can have a devastating impact on local communities and cause a ripple effect of anti-social behaviour, exploitation, violence and linked crimes. “If you have information about someone you suspect is involved in the supply of illegal drugs or are concerned about someone vulnerable to exploitation, please contact us.”
