A man has been sentenced to 33 months' imprisonment after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession of a fraudulent identity with improper intent.
Erjon Mhilli, 29 (DOB: 20/04/1995) from Shepherds Hill, Redhill, was arrested on 3 October 2024, after being stopped and searched at a public car park on Gloucester Road, Redhill.
When he and his vehicle were searched, officers uncovered more than 20 individual bags of cocaine along with a large quantity of cash and multiple mobile phones.
An address connected to Mhilli was searched the following day and officers found more cash, as well as a false identity document.
He was charged and remanded in custody on 4 October 2024.
Mhilli appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday, 4 February, where he was sentenced to 33 months in prison.
£1,250 in cash and phones have also been seized under the Section 27 Misuse of Drugs Act.
Investigating Officer Oliver Dujardin said: "Drug related crime can have a devastating impact on the community. I hope this outcome serves as a message to others that this will never be tolerated."
