Two members of an organised crime group have been sentenced after an operation to tackle the supply of class A and class B drugs was carried out in Mole Valley in 2021.

The two men, who were supplying drugs across the borough for financial gain over several months, were sentenced at Guildford Crown Court last Tuesday (24 June).

Jordan Wallace, 25, (DOB: 10/05/2000) of Dorking was sentenced to five years and a month in prison for his part in the drug supply OCG, while Liam Bailey, 34 (DOB: 02/09/1990), from Dorking received a two-year sentence which was suspended for two years.

Wallace pleaded guilty to the following offences:

  • Being concerned in the supply of cocaine (24/06/2021 – 31/07/2021)
  • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis (24/06/2021 – 31/07/2021)
  • Acquire/use /possess criminal property (28/09/2021)
  • Possession with intent to supply cannabis (30/07/2021)

Bailey pleaded guilty to the following offences:

  • Being concerned in the supply of cocaine (24/06/2021 – 31/07/2021)
  • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis (24/06/2021 – 31/07/2021)
  • Acquire/use /possess criminal property (28/09/2021)
  • Acquire/use/possess criminal property (23/02/2022)
  • Being concerned in the supply of cocaine (25/12/2020 – 24/02/2022)
  • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis (25/12/2020 – 23/02/2022)
  • Possession with intent to supply cannabis (23/02/2022)

Wallace was also found guilty of possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis relating to offences committed in July 2021.

On 30 July 2021, a section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant was carried out at an address in Dorking, which was being privately rented by Wallace at the time.

Wallace was found in an upstairs bedroom after officers forced entry into the property.

Following a search of the address, a number of items were found, including large quantities of cannabis and cocaine, drug-related paraphernalia and a large quantity of cash.

As well as more than £3,000 in cash, officers seized a total street value of £6,165 worth of cannabis and cocaine.

Officers also recovered designer clothes and footwear from the address.

Wallace was arrested at the address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and B controlled drugs. Bailey was also arrested after identification documents in his name were located at the address.

On 4 August 2021, Bailey was spotted within a recreation ground in Dorking and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and B controlled drugs.

Wallace was also convicted of separate offences of conspiracy to supply cannabis and cocaine between September and December 2024 after a mobile phone number he was using was identified as a drug line operating within Dorking.

On 3 December 2024, warrants were caried out at a number of addresses in Dorking, where they recovered quantities of cocaine and cannabis and drug-related paraphernalia.

Wallace was found at one of the addresses attempting to flush a white powder down the toilet and he was arrested and taken into custody.

He was identified as playing a leading role within the drug supply network after evidence was found of him sending out bulk text messages advertising cannabis for sale and messages where he was being asked to supply cocaine, disclosing in one that he was making £3,000 a week from selling cannabis.

Detective Constable Elliott Hartley, who investigated the offences, said: “Wallace was a key player in the drugs supply network operating across Mole Valley and the fact that he is now off our streets and behind bars shows our commitment to tackling those who bring drugs into our local communities.

“Both men are part of a system which preys on the vulnerable and brings nothing but misery to our communities.  We are working hard to identify who they are and disrupt their networks and I hope this case shows that it doesn’t matter how long it takes – we will find you.
