We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Effingham at around 1.30pm today (Sunday, 19 January).
Officers were called to Ranmore Common Road following reports of a collision between the rider of a BMW motorcycle and the driver of a Jaguar car.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Ranmore Common Road was closed for several hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.
We are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any dashcam or helmet footage that may have captured the incident or either vehicle driving prior to the collision.
