Witness appeal following reported racially aggravated public order in Earlswood Common

We are appealing for witnesses following a suspected racially aggravated public order incident in Earlswood Common carpark, by Earlswood Lakes, on Monday, 17 August.

Officers were made aware of a report of an incident that took place between 2pm and 2:15pm, during which the driver of a vehicle reportedly sounded their horn and shouted racial abuse at a parent and child.
We are particularly keen to speak to a man and woman, both believed to be in their mid-30s, who were driving a White Mercedes A-Class hatchback. We believe they may have information which could assist our enquiries.
Officers would also like to speak to two men who were travelling in a van in the area at the time, and who may have witnessed all or part of the reported incident.
