Episode 4: Training School
Despite the coronavirus pandemic we have still been recruiting and training new police officers and PCSOs, and ensuring that our current officers can still access required refresher and essential training courses like Advanced Driving and Taser training.
Covid19 has meant that the team have had to adapt quickly - making use of online video conferencing for lessons from home, and making decisions that impact family life.
Now is a great time to join Surrey Police - find out more of the range of roles that we're recruiting to currenly including Police Constables.
Episode 3: Roads Policing
The third episode introduces you to the Roads Policing Unit. Today PCs Aaron Jones and Jonathan Fromme patrol the road network across Surrey - ensuring that those on the roads are using it safely and legally, and denying criminals the use of the road.
Episode 2: Specials
This second episode introduces you to Sam and Tom, Special Sergeants, as they deliver drone capability across Surrey on a hot and sunny day.
Since lockdown started on the 23 March our Special Constables have volunteered over 10,000 hours of policing alongside their regular colleagues. 34 Specials have given over 100 hours, 10 have volunteered over 250 hours, and 2 have each volunteered over 400 hours!!!
Episode 1: PCSOs
This first episode introduces you to Adam and Dino, PCSOs in Woking, as they go out in their community undertaking vital welfare checks on some of our more vulnerable residents.
