The movement of abnormal loads is prohibited on any Surrey roads in peak hours:
If you need to move inside these times, for example in an emergency, you must apply for a dispensation.
The movement of abnormal loads is prohibited in Surrey on bank holiday weekends from 12 noon on the Friday before until daylight on the Tuesday after (except on the M25 and M3).
A dispensation is a permission for an abnormal load to travel without having to notify us each time.
You can apply for a dispensation for loads up to 3.5m wide and 25m long.
