Your safer neighbourhood team
Neighbourhood policing within Surrey Police is delivered by Safer Neighbourhood Teams in each of the 11 districts and boroughs of the County. Each neighbourhood within the districts and boroughs is served by a dedicated team of officers and staff.
Neighbourhood Teams provide community engagement, targeted foot patrols and collaborative problem solving to tackle the issues that cause the greatest harm in our communities. Teams are made of sergeants, police officers and PCSOs, led by the Borough Commander, with further support provided by other team members - with specialisms in youth engagement, licensing and crime prevention.

ASB - Brox Road, Ottershaw.
Action taken:
Our officers continue to work as part of the joint action group to make sure the environment is suitable for everyone to use the area. Parking enforcement attend the area and police have attended the area over the last few months to engage with persons present. We are tackling the issue using ASB tools and powers and have issued a warning letter regarding behaviour and expectations.
One of the premises in the area has now employed security and are being actively involved in deterring ASB. We will continue to monitor the situation and escalate where appropriate.
