Your safer neighbourhood team
Neighbourhood policing within Surrey Police is delivered by Safer Neighbourhood Teams in each of the 11 districts and boroughs of the County. Each neighbourhood within the districts and boroughs is served by a dedicated team of officers and staff.
Neighbourhood Teams provide community engagement, targeted foot patrols and collaborative problem solving to tackle the issues that cause the greatest harm in our communities. Teams are made of sergeants, police officers and PCSOs, led by the Borough Commander, with further support provided by other team members - with specialisms in youth engagement, licensing and crime prevention.

Frimley - Theft /Shoplifting
Action taken:
The local police team will continue to work alongside retailers to improve reporting, evidence gathering and information sharing. Local officers will use a range of enforcement options to deal with offenders including arrests, community resolutions, Community Protection Notices and ASB warning letters.

Frimley - Anti Social Behaviour.
Action taken:
Visible patrols continue to be made in the area of Stonehouse Rise due to reports of ASB and drug related incidents. A partial property closure was successfully applied for in the courts at an address and this will continue to be monitored by local officers.

Violence Against Women and Girls
Action taken:
Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) refers to a wide range of crimes and abusive behaviours that disproportionately affect women and girls, although people of all genders can be victims. These offences cause significant physical, emotional, psychological, and social harm, and their impact often extends beyond individuals to families and communities. There have been an increase in exposure offences reported in the borough of Surrey Heath.
Surrey Police is committed to pursuing those who are committing these types of offences. We are aware that VAWG offences are underreported and our team are engaging with the community to encourage reporting and using 999 when there is a crime in progress. Increased patrols are being completed in places that have been targeted for these types of offences. The neighbourhood team are working with our proactive team to arrange days of action with specially trained officers to observe and intervene when necessary.
