The Neighbourhood Sergeant provides frontline leadership to coordinate neighbourhood team activity, and work with the community, partners and other colleagues, to deliver safer neighbourhoods. This includes directing problem solving and engagement activity, and being responsive to community needs.

The local policing team continue to patrol the area, both overtly and covertly and will robustly use all police powers available to them for anyone caught driving antisocially or illegally.

The Warlingham area in the north of the borough has recently seen the majority of recorded burglary offences, likely due to the vicinity of the strategic road network and cross county borders.

Cross border working with neighbouring police forces and information sharing is ongoing, including proactive patrols of hotspot areas.
