All Police Forces in England and Wales are now required to notify the CoP of the details of any Police officers and Special Constables and Police Staff including volunteers, who have been dismissed for Gross Incompetence or Misconduct or who have resigned or retired under Gross Misconduct investigation. The procedure also includes former officers when one of three conditions are met. This procedure has been written to outline those requirements and the Surrey Police response to them. The Barred and Advisory Lists are administered by the College of Policing.
