PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF MISCONDUCT HEARING - SC WALEED AHMAD
Special Constable Ahmad is to attend a Misconduct Hearing at Surrey Police Headquarters, Mount Browne, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1HG at 14.30 on 7th July 2025 to answer allegations relating to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of the following standards: Confidentiality, Orders and Instructions, Duties and Responsibilities, and Discreditable Conduct.
It is alleged that on 25 February 2023, SC Ahmad used his Mobile Data Terminal to conduct six searches of police databases for no policing purpose. This included accessing his own Niche record, viewing intelligence reports relating to himself and conducting searches on his own vehicle registration.
It is further alleged that the conduct of the officer, if proven, amounts to Gross Misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
