Notification of Misconduct Hearing

(a) Name of Officer concerned - former PC 41268 Joshua Rainey

(b) Date of Hearing - 15th May 2026

(c) Time - 0900hrs

(d) Location - Mount Browne. Surrey Police HQ

 

Conduct that is the subject matter of the case - it is alleged that former Police Officer 41268 Joshua Rainey's conduct has breached the following Standards of Professional Behaviour; Discreditable Conduct, Honesty and Integrity; in that:

On the 9th November 2025 Joshua Rainey was stopped by police driving a motor vehicle on a public road. As a result of this stop he was asked to provide a certificate of insurance.

A certificate was provided by Johsua Rainey which was at odds with the information held on PNC and it is alleged that he has provided a false certificate to police.
