Two men have been charged with murder following a fatal collision in Sunbury Cross in July 2024.
Samuel Aspden, 25 (09/09/1999), of Walton-on-Thames, and Charles Pardoe, 25 (11/12/1999), of Feltham, appeared at Staines Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday, 19 March). They have been remanded to appear at Guildford Crown Court tomorrow (Thursday, 20 March).
These charges follow the deaths of William Birchard and Darren George in a fatal collision on the A316 at Sunbury Cross in July 2024.
Alex Rose, 29, (03/04/1995), of Sunbury-upon-Thames, was charged with two counts of murder and one count of perverting the course of justice on 27 July 2024.
Tara Knaggs, 24, (10/06/2000), of Great Ayton in Yorkshire, was charged with assisting an offender on 27 July 2024.
They are both currently remanded in custody awaiting trial in August 2025.
