We are appealing for witnesses following an altercation in Oxted on 2 May.
Officers received reports of an altercation in the car park of Morrisons on East Hill between 12:30pm and 12:45pm, during which a woman and her child were subjected to verbal abuse. It was also reported that the woman was spat at during the incident.
The incident took place towards the front of the store near the parent and child parking spaces.
We would particularly like to speak to a White man described as being around 5ft. 10 inches tall, in his 60s, with tattoos around his ear and neck. He was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki-coloured trousers, and glasses, and had a shaved head. We believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries.
Were you in the area at the time? If you witnessed this incident, or have any dashcam footage of the area at the time, or think you may have relevant information, please contact us quoting PR/45260051109 via direct message or our online reporting tool.
