Witness appeal following racially aggravated assault in Leatherhead

We are appealing for witnesses following a report of a racially aggravated assault in Leatherhead.

The incident took place on Friday, 26 June, at around 1pm, when an altercation occurred close to the bridge and mini-roundabout at the junction of Guildford Road, Minchin Close and Bridge Street. During the incident, a man was reportedly subjected to racial abuse before being punched in the face, sustaining serious injuries.

We would particularly like to speak to three White men, believed to be in their early 30s, who are believed to have been walking from the bridge towards Leatherhead town centre. We believe they may be able to assist with our investigation.

We are keen to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at the time and who may be able to assist us with our enquiries.
