Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and on average it takes between 7-10 years to be diagnosed. The Support group aims to raise awareness, seek feedback in relation to current policy/procedure and share experiences. It offers a safe space where individuals can share experiences/information that is practical, constructive, and helpful. The Support Group is open to everyone, as the impact it can have on families/those offering support, can be substantial and overwhelming. Equally, if you are currently working with/managing an individual with Endometriosis, advice can be shared around how best to offer support.
