The Parenting Group is interested and involved in how Pregnancy and Parenting issues are managed within Surrey Police. Our aim is to enable Surrey Police to be supportive of those on the parenting journey, so that they can balance the demands of being a parent with their demanding role in our policing environment. We manage Parenting SPOCs, BreastBuddies, Keeping in Touch (KIT) days, and are looking at the impact on parents of issues such as on call duties, leave embargoes, parenting partner leave, job shares, the experience and ease of return from parenting leave, etc.
