Shoplifting offences in Station Road.
Action taken:
We have conducted additional patrols in the area to reassure residents. We have also invested a lot of time engaging with shop keepers asking them to report so that we can take action. We have issued numerous community protection warnings to stop our repeat offenders entering local shops and causing harm to the community.
We continue to solve crimes in the area in relation to this.
We are also setting up a shopwatch scheme to help with communication and identifying offenders for us to take action against.
