Action taken:
Targeting shoplifting within the town centre by pursuing repeat offenders. We have also increased patrol activity in our hotspot areas, increasing visibility and ensuring that shop staff feel supported to report crime.

Action taken:
To reduce the likelihood of VAWG incidents occurring during busy times for nightlife, we have increased officer foot patrols in the town centre and run dedicated Ops to identify and interrupt offending.

Police are aware of increasing reports of ASB caused by groups of young people in the town centre, specifically on a Sunday afternoon.
Action taken:
A dispersal order has been authorised for the town on Sunday afternoons. Extra officers have been put on duty with increased patrol activity.
